WBAF Chairman & EBAN Vice President Baybars Altuntas and WBAF Board Member & ABAN President Harry Tomi Davies have been announced as the new co-presidents of the Washington, DC-based Global Business Angels Network (GBAN).

GBAN was launched at the Global Entrepreneurship Congress in Milan during the Global Angel Summit in March 2015. While membership is free, it requires angel organisations to apply as either a national member (one representative per country) or a general member (other organizations involved in developing the angel movement). There are no categories for service providers, academic institutions or SME members, as GBAN serves the angel investor movement alone. GBAN will connect with other constituencies through the Global Entrepreneurship Network.
