LATE-BREAKING DEVELOPMENT – The World Business Angels Investment Forum (WBAF) has made a significant announcement regarding its UAE Country Office, which will be under the leadership of His Excellency Hussain Mohamed Al Mahmoudi. The noteworthy agreement ceremony was held at the Conrad Hilton in Istanbul, with the UAE’s Trade Minister in attendance.
Al Mahmoudi is poised to unveil the 2024 Action Plan of the WBAF UAE Country Office during the upcoming World Congress of Angel Investors, scheduled for November 21, 2023, at the Durban ICC International Convention Center in South Africa.
WBAF has chosen H.E. Hussain Al Mahmoodi to serve as the Chairman of its UAE Country Office. Distinguished guests at the ceremony included H.E. Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, the Minister of State for Foreign Trade of the UAE, H.E. Prof Omer Bolat, the Minister of Trade of Turkey, and the UAE’s Special Envoy. This significant agreement was signed during the visit of a UAE Delegation to Turkey.
Mr. Hussain Al Mahmoodi boasts an impressive career history, having held leadership positions at renowned regional and international companies, including the Royal Dutch Shell Group, Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC), and Dubai Holding. Currently, he serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of the Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation (SRTI) Park.
